The 2016 STAPLES "Give A Toonie, Share A Dream" Campaign is about to begin!

posted May 6, 2016, 9:13 AM by Kaitlyn Lindensmith   [ updated May 6, 2016, 9:13 AM ]

It’s that time of year again..our Staples Campaign begins tomorrow (May 7) and runs through May 29. Special Olympics Ontario athletes and volunteers will be visiting your local store at some point during the campaign to show off their medals and raise awareness for what Special Olympics is and does.

Staples is one of the largest long-time supporters of Special Olympics Canada. Last year, over $180,000 was raised in Ontario... but this year, we are striving to reach the $200,000 mark. This is an ambitious goal but YOU can help - please spread the word about the campaign and encourage family, friends, colleagues to visit a Staples store near you and participate by donating (which can also conveniently be done online). For more information on this campaign, to find a store near you, or to donate online, please visit http://www.staples.ca/sbdca/en_CA/cre/programs/gatsad/.
